The Ruling party is committed to work towards the achievement of designed development goals

It was noted that the Ruling party is committed to wage efforts that enable to realize the prevalence of democracy, good governance and rapid development in the country.

Chief government whip hon. Ato. Shiferaw Jarso has disclosed this while he gave a statement on 10th of Oct. 2007 to journalists regarding the implementation of the plan designed by the Ruling party in the third millennium.

Hon. Ato Shiferaw has reveled that the Ruling party has a plan of action to accelerate the implementation of policies and programmes of Agriculture, Industry and effective utilization of water, which play pivotal role on the prevalence of democracy, good governance and enhancement of accelerated economic development in Ethiopia.

Besides, the Ruling party has planned to build the capacity of the members of the House in general and the members of EPRDF and standing committees in particular to realize polices and programes in to practice for the attainment of designed goals, he said.

Moreover, for the practicality of the designed plan the Ruling party will exert efforts that would enable the public to participate in the over all development, he has affirmed.

Similarly, the Ruling party has the political will that would enable the opposition parties to be part of the plan formulated by the government and has a will to discuss with opposition parties on the bases of the FDRE constitution, he addressed.

Meanwhile, hon. Shiferaw also said that the Ruling party has arranged mechanisms to oversight the implementation of the already allocated budget at federal and regional levels.

It was expected that 90% of the legislative plan would be promulgated during the 3rd tenure of the 3rd year of the House.
