The House of Peoples’ Representatives in its 6th regular session held on 15th of Nov. 2007 has confirmed two bills and a decision proposal.

The House has confirmed after it has discussed thoroughly on the decision proposal presented by the chairpersons of the Infrastructure Affairs and the Legal and Administrative Affairs standing committees of the House.

The House has promulgated a draft proclamation to establish Agency for or Government owned houses with a majority vote of 274 for, 86 against and 10 abstentions as Proclamation No. 555/2007.

Likewise, the House also endorsed the draft proclamation to establish the secretariat of the House of Federation with majority vote of 359 for, with no objection and 10 abstentions as Proclamation No. 556/2007.

Similarly, the House has in addition ratified the decision proposal to replace the missing members of standing committees with a majority vote of 348 for, 8 against and 3 abstentions.

On the other development, the House has adopted the decision proposal to replace some missing members of standing committees to be delegated by of the speaker of the House for a year, with majority vote of 345 for 6 against, and 18 abstentions.

Meanwhile, the House has adopted minutes of the 2nd year tenure of the 4th special meeting and the 3rd year tenure of 1st, 2nd and 3rd regular sessions.
