ETHIOPIA AND CZECH REPUBLIC SHOULD INTENSIFY
RELATION SHIPS

The Speaker of the House, hon. Ambassador Teshome Toga indicated the need to strengthen further the relationship between Ethiopia and the Czech Republic.

The Speaker, hon. Ambassador Teshome Toga revealed this when he conferred with the visiting delegation of the Republic of Czech led by its first deputy Prime Minister, H.E. Mr. Jiri Cunek on 25th of July 2007.

Meanwhile, hon. Ambassader Teshome underscored the need to strengthen existing relations in trade, investment and technical cooperation.

Besides, he brought to attention that the House of Peoples’ Representatives has organized the Ethio-Czech parliamentary friendship group with a view to strengthen relations with Czech parliament.

His Excellency, Mr. Cunek on his part has expressed readiness of the Czech Republic to strengthen relations with Ethiopia.

Meantime, hon. Ambassador Teshome passed a message of invitation to the parliamentary delegation of the Czech Republic to visit Ethiopia and expressed his belief that the Ethiopian counter part would similarly pay working visit to the Czech Republic.
