Parliament Urged to strengthen Etho-Indian Bilateral Relations
It was urged that the Ethiopian parliament should take commitment to strengthen the existing and long standing bilateral relationship on social, economic and political spheres between Ethiopia and India.

The Statement of the founder of the Art of Living and International Association for Human values his Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has an important input in enhancing the long standing and ongoing cultural, social, economic and political relationship of the two countries.
Meanwhile, his Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shnakar said that peaceful cooperation and healthy relationship among ethnic groups help to solve problems jointly, to realize effective leadership and striving to carry on the strategic development programme which in turn would accelerate Socio-economic development.
The lesson on Art of living programme would enable the members of the House to develop willingness, committee passion, decision making system confidence, self understanding and encourages their day to day activities, he noted.
Chairperson of the Ethio-India Parliamentary Friendship committee in the House, honorable Ato Tekle Tessema on his part said the all round bilateral ties between Ethiopia and India have been growing from time to time.
Hon. Ato Tekele mentioned that the Ethiopian parliament should strengthen efforts of Indian teachers that have been teaching Ethiopian students at different school levels, the trainings which have been given to the trainees in tele education and tele medicine, technology transfer in science and cultures.
Moreover, the ongoing bilateral agreement to work closely towards bringing long lasting solution in global warming, on the agendas of world trade organization, in International peace keeping and security and implement jointly a number of development projects in Ethiopia should continue strengthened more than ever before, he remarked.
Furthermore, exerting efforts carrying out floriculture industry by Indian citizens in Ethiopia and capacity building to Ethiopian parliamentarians in different issues and creating market access to Ethiopia’s products by Indian government signifies the strong ties of the two countries, he explained.
