A Parliamentary delegation of the FDRE left for Geneve on 5th of October 2007 to participate in the 117th conference of the Inter Parliamentary Union.

The Parliamentary delegation constituted of the House of Peoples Representatives and the Federation was led by hon. W/ro Shittaye Minale, Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples’ Representatives.

The conference, in its working session from 8th – 10th October 2007, discusses on the Human and individual rights, the statute of the parliament and the various reports presented by its committees, it was learnt.
